Received this machete yesterday and immediately went outside and tried it out. I was impressed by the fact it was sharp right out of the sheath and I was chopping brush and weeds with ease. The tool has some heft to it but not heavy by any means. It appears to be a quality tool and the non slip handle is a plus. It just feels comfortable in my hand. The included lanyard was also a nice touch. The sheath is pretty nice as well, as its made of a heavier nylon material. It should last for some time. This appears to be a quality tool and I expect it to outlast me. The lifetime warranty is another plus. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I am a land surveyor and I'm constantly in the woods and the swamps of Florida. When I first received the blade I was skeptical because of how thin and lite it was, but after using it for a few weeks it has become my most favorite blade to use. Well built and easy to sharpen, holds a pretty good edge. If you know how to sharpen a machete with a bastard file, this bad boy will easily cut through 6-in trees and bigger with just a couple swings.

Great tool that works as intended. Not the sharpest out of box but that’s an easy fix. I wouldn’t buy this item from this specific seller because he’s given multiple people these tools without the sheath. What am I to do carry this giant machete in the woods while hunting? Yea, I don’t think so, he probably sells the sheath separately even though he claims it’s included. Don’t purchase from this vendor, a sheath to this machete is as important as a shell to a turtle.

It's looks may scream "mall ninja" but it's actually a comfortable in the hand work machete with a nice medium to heavy blade. Cutting a path through woody perennial invasives like barberry, multiflora rose, wineberry, bittersweet all no problem.
